When No Reading Arrives

No regulation in the morning, or the companion stuck on "waiting for data" — here's what to check, in order.

First things to check

1. Did you sleep with your Apple Watch on?

The Regulation Score is computed mainly from your heart rate during sleep.

  • If the Watch was charging overnight, there's no data for that night
  • The rhythm we recommend: finish charging between evening and bedtime, and sleep with it on

2. Are Health permissions in place?

Settings → Privacy & Security → Health → Feelmo

Check that read access for "Heart Rate Variability," "Heart Rate," and "Sleep" is on. See Apple Watch & HealthKit for more.

3. Have you opened the app once?

Even on mornings when overnight processing didn't run, opening Feelmo re-reads the data on the spot. If nothing changes after a short wait, try fully quitting and reopening the app.

A reading appears, but it's not the usual

A "low confidence" label shows

It's a sign the night's data was sparse or patchy. Nothing is broken.

  • A loose fit — from turning over, say — can leave data patchy
  • Take numbers from a low-confidence night as a rough reference only

Some nights, no number at all

When there isn't enough data, Feelmo doesn't force a number. Nights without one are proof it's working honestly.

If it still doesn't arrive

  • If another app records your sleep, some sleep-data formats can't be read. Check that the Health app holds "sleep stages" (actual sleep records, not just in-bed time)
  • Try updating iOS, watchOS, and Feelmo to the latest versions
  • If it isn't resolved, feel free to reach out via Support

The first days are growing time

At the start, the Regulation Score begins as a provisional display borrowing standard values. See How Your Score Grows for more.

But note

Data not arriving is a separate matter from your health. For any concerning symptom, please consult a medical professional.
