Adjusting the Mood

The companion Feelmo chose doesn't match how you feel right now — when that happens, you can adjust it. How you feel is always the right answer.

How to adjust

  1. Tap the regulation gauge (or the companion) on the Today tab
  2. Choose, from the six companions, the one closest to you right now
  3. The display switches to your choice right away

Adjusting helps Feelmo grow

An adjustment doesn't end at "overwriting." From your adjustments, Feelmo gradually learns how to choose companions.

  • When adjustments keep going the same way, Feelmo's choices lean that way, little by little
  • It never shifts a lot at once. It learns slowly, modestly
  • What it learns is how to choose the companion (mode). The Regulation Score itself does not change

Adjust freely

There's no need to think "I should agree with the app's call." Quite the opposite — the more you adjust, the more Feelmo settles into you.

Linking with Health's "State of Mind"

If you've turned it on in settings, your logged mood can be written to Apple Health's "State of Mind." Left off, nothing is written. See HealthKit Data for more.

But note

Neither Feelmo's companions nor your adjustments are a medical assessment. If distress persists, please consult a medical professional.
