Data & Privacy

Feelmo is designed on the principle that data about your body exists to be observed — never to be bought and sold for guessing.

What stays on your device

Mood logs, HRV-derived data, and your behavior tags and wellbeing records are kept on your device by default. Nothing is sent to the Provider's servers automatically.

This health-related data is not stored in iCloud (per Apple's guidelines, the Provider does not store HealthKit-derived health information in iCloud). When you turn on iCloud Sync in Settings, the only thing synced is your settings (notifications, appearance, reminders) — not health data — and that too is not sent to the Provider's servers. iCloud Sync is off by default.

HealthKit access

  • Access is requested once, upfront, with every type Feelmo may use disclosed — no surprise asks later
  • You can revoke any data type at any time from Settings
  • HealthKit data is never used for advertising or shared with third parties

Deletion

You can delete your data at any time. Your data is always yours. Deleting the app's data (Reset) removes only the Feelmo data on this device — your data in Apple's Health app (HRV, sleep, water, caffeine, and so on) is not deleted.

Changing devices

Mood logs, HRV, and sleep are kept only on your device (never in iCloud), so they don't carry over to a new device on their own. Turning on iCloud Sync in Settings syncs only your settings (notifications, appearance) across devices. The source data for HRV and sleep lives in Apple Health, so carrying Apple Health over lets the app read from it again on the new device.

The formal document

See the Privacy Policy for the full text.

In-app text & languages

The gentle words of observation and summaries are composed on your device in the language you've selected. Whatever language you choose, that happens entirely on your device — your data never leaves it.
